Words of Wisdom

Everyone has the power to heal and transform their lives and achieve inner peace and inner joy, but many people have challenges in their health, relationships, and finances.

One of the ways we can transform and overcome these challenges is to apply the Six Sacred Power Techniques to the Five Elements. For centuries, Five Elements theory has helped millions of people prevent illness and heal and rejuvenate soul, heart, mind, and body. Everyone and everything are made of the Five Elements – Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water – and they are all interrelated. When they are in balance, one is healthy. When they are unbalanced, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual illnesses follow. With this practice, you can bring positive information to boost your body’s natural defense mechanisms, increase your immunity, release anger, depression, anxiety, worry, and fear, and find calm and inner peace.

I am very honored to now be able to serve you with my new podcast Experience Life Transformation with Dr. and Master Sha. In the first series of the podcast, I explain and present a practice with the Five Elements that you can do at any time. I welcome everyone to practice with me.

I also invite everyone from every background and tradition to consider receiving more sacred wisdom and practical techniques by applying to enroll in my entry-level Tao Hands Practitioner training program. Tao Hands is a spiritual transmission that carries the high frequency, vibration, and positive information of Tao and the Tao qualities of unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion, and more. With Tao Hands, you can get to the root of life’s challenges, restore balance and harmony, and transform health, emotions, relationships, finances, and more. As a Tao Hands Practitioner, you become empowered to create more health and happiness, helping yourself and serving your loved ones, your community, and more. Tao Hands connects us with our most positive essence and help us fulfill our purpose in life, to serve others.

With love and blessings,
Master Sha

The Heroes’ Hero

Born in Shaanxi Province in China in the mid 1950’s, Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha became deeply committed to serve the suffering at a very young age. He often recalls a day when he saw a woman sitting alongside a road unable to walk. He approached her and asked what could be troubling her. The woman looked at him and wearily said she had difficulty breathing. As a youngster, he wanted so much to be able to help her. Through this encounter and many more, Master Sha’s heart of pure service and compassion put him onto the path of becoming an extraordinary healer.

MS-child-photo-1.jpgMaster Sha grew up in a prominent family. His father was the top executive of a coal mine with ten thousand employees. His father’s leadership style was very hands on and he stood with his workers. Whenever there was a cave-in or other crisis, his father would be the first to risk his own life to rescue those in peril, despite the efforts of other employees trying to hold him back. This sense of responsibility and care for others, so apparent in Master Sha himself, comes from his earliest role model, his father.

At the age of six, Master Sha convinced his parents and a grandmaster of tai qi to enroll him as a student. Despite his tender age, he underwent strict training and practice for the next 10 years. For Master Sha, the decision to learn tai qi was a crucial first step in his mental development. He learned how to push himself beyond pain and gain great control of his body.

In the years that followed, Master Sha became a practitioner of tai qi and qigong. He further mastered other ancient arts including kung fu, feng shui, and I Ching. Master Sha also excelled in school and was a top student in every subject. He attained leadership positions and took his responsibilities seriously. He devoted his time to after-school tutoring, and helped his classmates who struggled with schoolwork.

In 1983, Master Sha completed his medical degree in Western medicine at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Three years later, he was certified as an acupuncturist and herbalist by the World Health Organization’s Institute of International Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, where he also taught acupuncture, tai qi, and qigong to foreign physicians.

In the years that followed, Master Sha travelled to the Philippines for study and for work. He treated the highest-ranking military officials as well as government officials, and became the personal physician to many of the country’s affluent.

In 1988 while working on a master’s degree in hospital administration in the Philippines, Master Sha received a book titled Dong Yi Gong from his father. Dong means using. Yi means mind. Gong means practice. Dong Yi Gong is one type of Qi Gong in China. Qi Gong is an ancient energy practice to boost energy, stamina, vitality, and immunity. It is also to rejuvenate the body, to prolong life, and to heal sickness. The author of the book, Dr. and Master Zhi Chen Guo, is the founder of Zhi Neng Medicine and Body Space Medicine.

Master Sha developed a strong and steadfast relationship with Master Guo, and soon became his disciple and adopted son. Through his studies and extensive training, Master Sha gained profound wisdom and achievement through the integration of Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism with modern medicine. He eventually settled in Canada, and established himself as a very successful doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. He has since combined the essence of Western medicine with traditional Chinese medicine. In 2017 he co-authored Tao Science, with string theorist and quantum physicist, Dr. Rulin Xiu (Ph.D. 1994, University of California at Berkley). This groundbreaking book takes an integrative approach to unifying science and spirituality.

Master Sha is also the founder of Tao Academy™ and the Love Peace Harmony Foundation, which is dedicated to helping everyone worldwide have happier and healthier lives. In 2002 he was named Qigong Master of the Year at the Fifth World Congress on Qigong. In 2006 he was honored with the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission Award for his humanitarian efforts. In 2013 Master Sha became the sole Lineage Holder of Yi Bi Zi Calligraphy from Professor Li Qui Yun, student of Tai Shi (supreme teacher), teacher of the Qing dynasty’s last emperor and royal family. In 2016 Master Sha received esteemed appointments as National Chinese Calligrapher Master and Honorable Researcher Professor, the highest titles a calligrapher can receive by the State Ethnic Academy of Painting in China. From 2014 to the present, Master Sha has received many awards and recognition from state governments throughout the United States.

Master Sha’s stellar accomplishments as a soul healer have been well-documented and chronicled in best-selling books and in numerous television and multimedia interviews. His fame and reputation as an extraordinary healer are worldwide. However, beyond physical world achievements, it is the heart of compassion and service that attracts people from all walks of life to him and to his work. Unlike many notable masters, Master Sha does not keep sacred wisdom and healing techniques to himself. He liberally shares everything with his devoted students. He constantly empowers his students with more and more wisdom and healing techniques, so they too can create miracles in life. Many students follow closely in his footsteps. Some have developed stellar reputations in their own right.

Master Sha has taught all of his students a most powerful Chinese phrase:

Yin Shui Si Yuan

Yin means drink. Shui means water. Si means think. Yuan means source or origin. The phrase means when you drink water, think of the source.

Master Sha has passed on this knowledge with quiet passion. He has said on numerous occasions, “The more successful I become, the more I remember the teachings of my spiritual father, Master Guo, his teachers, and all of the teachings I received from the Divine, the Source, and other masters. They are the source of my wisdom and the power of my service. How can I thank them enough? I am the humble servant to them and humanity. I thank each of them from the bottom of my heart and soul.”

Master Sha teaches that the purpose in life is to serve. He has trained tens of thousands of powerful healers worldwide. Tao Hands Practitioner is the first level training program that offers high frequency blessings that can transform negative information to restore harmony and balance to health, emotions, relationships, finances, career, intelligence, and more. Many have benefitted from learning how to apply powerful healing techniques for their personal well-being, as well as helping family, friends, pets, businesses, organizations, and more.

On the Light Side

Editor’s note: This segment will be featured in our newsletter as more stories are collected from our readers. If you have a lighthearted story you would like to share, please send it to: pam.uyeunten@drsha.com. Enter “On the Light Side” in the subject line.

Nearly everyone agrees that the spiritual journey is filled with challenges. In our journeys, we are blessed with many opportunities for personal growth and spiritual development. During the times we are being tested by Heaven and the Universe, a serious, thoughtful approach is recommended, but sometimes when the testing is extraordinarily demanding, we may be blessed with moments of lightheartedness that open the heart further. Indeed, laughter can be the best medicine.

Lighthearted banter can relieve and lighten the heart and soul. It is like taking a spiritual time-out to catch our breath, heal, mend, restore, and move forward again. Please read and enjoy these three stories submitted by Certified Master Teacher of Tao Academy™, Pamela Uyeunten, that will take us on a stroll on the Light Side.

What is the Size of Courage?

We are all familiar with Gilles Neplaz’s journey to hurricane-ravaged Dominica in September 2017. During an interview with Gilles, there was a moment of lightheartedness, only because Gilles returned home to his family in Toronto safe and sound.

images_N03_whatSizeDidYouSay.jpgGilles said when he reached Dominica, he worked many, many hours nonstop without food. Every day for about a week, he offered people in the community fishing supplies, water filters, and lifesaving Tao Hands blessings. He spoke of his sudden realization that after he was offered a slice of bread that was to be shared with other people for the day’s meal, Gilles realized that his life could actually come to an end on Dominica. He lost more than 10 kilos in approximately one week. He used ropes to keep his clothing from slipping off. Gilles quipped, “Yes, I went to Dominica a size large. I came out a small.”

Although we shared a moment of laughter, I understood it to be a significant sharing because of what it took for Gilles to lose so much weight in such a short amount of time. Gilles expended enormous energy because of his heart of service. It took an extraordinary person to jump in and serve in such an extraordinary way. The results of his incredible service showed in his physical transformation.

Gilles further added, “I now have two sets of clothing!” That comment evoked more spontaneous laughter and joy, for it described Gilles’s humility and lightness. He is truly a man without ego, and one who serves from the purity of his heart.

The Lesson of the Water Mat

images_N03_lessonWaterMat.jpgI had the pleasure of sitting next to Desiree Lim during the first Tao Calligraphy workshop. As we earnestly practiced writing calligraphy using water mats for the first time, Master Sha began circulating within the large classroom that held over 200 students. He then asked students to come to him with their best calligraphy written on the water mats. Desiree and I walked over to him and stood in line. After several tries, we were saddened that our writing samples would disappear from the water mat by the time we reached Master Sha. (Since this was the first workshop, no one had thought of taking pictures of their work to show him.)

As we returned to our seats, Desiree commented, “If only our negative thoughts and deeds could be erased as quickly as the image disappears off the water mat…”

The thought was exceedingly funny at the time, but The Lesson of the Water Mat is a wonderful teaching on forgiveness. I will personally strive to forgive others as quickly as the water dries off the mat.

The Magic Elevator

Years ago, I presented a workshop in Honolulu entitled, “Divine Transformation.” It was based on one of Master Sha’s bestselling books of the same title.

images_N03_theMagicElevator.jpgOn the last day, I asked the students to share their insights gained over the past two days.  The students were delighted and eager to share.  Since it was a large class, there were many interesting stories to listen to, and the moment was quite special.  Towards the end of the sharing, the most senior of the students raised her hand.  She said she was really inspired by the phrase, Fan Lao Huang Tong, which means returning from old age back to the state and purity of a baby.

The elderly woman said it reminded her of a story she heard as a little girl.  She then shared, “At the turn of the 20th century, an adult grandson drove his elderly grandparents into the big city from a rural part of town.  Grandma planned to do some shopping, and Grandpa needed to see his doctor for a checkup.  The medical building was very modern and had a state-of-the-art elevator installed.  Seeing an elevator for the first time, Grandpa was curious and wanted to see how it worked before stepping inside.  As he sat on a bench in front of the elevator, an elderly gentleman walking with a cane came by.  He pressed the button and entered through the doors that opened up.  A few seconds later, the doors opened again and out bounded a man who appeared to be 20 years younger.  He was physically fit and very handsome.  After a slight pause, Grandpa turned to his grandson and said, Quick, go get Grandma.”

The class erupted in joyful laughter, and one student remarked, “Transformation in that way would really be divine!”
